Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis expects the Derby del Sole with Roma to be civil when it is played this Friday.
After a week of international football, the two southern rivals will meet in the Serie A, with both clubs currently occupying the top two positions in the league table.
“I expect a civil game and based on sportsmanship, both on the terraces and in the field,” reflected De Laurentiis to Rai Sport.
“I call on the Napoli fans to be as extraordinary as usual, whatever happens, whether we win, lose or it is a draw.
“I am for football as the highest expression of sport and the highest expression of culture that every city carries within itself the colours of their team.
“In the colours of my team – this great blue – I would like and hope that this is a beautiful game.”
