Prandelli ready to leave Italy job

Cesare Prandelli, ItalyReports in Italy suggest that the current Italy head coach Cesare Prandelli may leave the post after the 2014 World Cup.

The Azzurri are set to play their last remaining World Cup Qualifiers in the coming weeks, against Denmark and Armenia respectively.

Although no official statements have been released by Prandelli or the FIGC regrading the 56-year-old’s future, Tuttosport, report that an official statement about Prandelli’s future will be made before the start of next year’s World Cup.

Several names are being lined up as potential successors to Prandelli, these names include current AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri and Roberto Mancini who coaches Turkish side Galatasaray.

Mancini who signed a three-year contract with the Turkish giants in September 2013, has a verbal agreement with the club that will allow him to terminate his contract if the the Azzurri coaching  job is vacant.
