Roma have confirmed that they will travel to Indonesia in November to play a friendly match against an Indonesian Select XI.

The match will not interfere with the domestic calendar as it will take place on November 14, during the international break at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.

Roma CEO Italo Zanzi said about the fixture: “We are committed to maximizing Roma’s global reach. This match is a very important step in building a sustainable presence in Indonesia and Asia.

“We have a large and growing fan base in Indonesia and look forward to giving them the chance to experience Roma live in Jakarta.”

Arif Wicaksono, CEO of Nine Sport said  “We’re very excited to bring AS Roma to Indonesia this November. Indonesia is one of the world’s biggest markets for football and we have no doubt that the match will excite local football fans.”

Roma have started the season in fine form, having not dropped a single point in their opening seven games in Serie A, maintaining their 100% record with a 3-0 victory away to Inter on Saturday.
