Luigi Di BiagioItaly U21 coach Luigi Di Biagio believes Friday’s top of the table clash between Roma and Napoli will decided in midfield.

The capital club lead Serie A after seven straight wins and host a Napoli side lying second having dropped just two points so far this season in Serie A.

“I’m expecting a great game,” Di Biagio told Radio Mana Mana Sport.

“They are two sides who play good football.

“It will be a 4-3-3 against a 4-2-3-1 and I think the game will be won in midfield.”

Di Biagio believes getting a result would be more important to the hosts, despite them already being top of the league.

“The game is more important to them because it could definitely launch them into the Scudetto race.”

The 42-year-old who played for Roma and Inter discussed the two club’s recent meeting in Serie A in which Roma impressively won 3-0 in Milan.

“Roma played the perfect game at San Siro,” he continued.

“Everything seems to be coming off for them, their movement looks well-honed and they are perfect in every department.

“If they continue like this then the championship will be over in three months. We just need to understand how they will react if they go into difficulty.”
