Roma captain Francesco Totti believes that his team have shown their strength and courage in their win over Udinese on Sunday.

Although the Giallorossi were down to 10 men in the second half they still managed to pull a 1-0 upset over the Zebrette with a late goal from Michael Bradley.

Totti released a statement on his official website after the victory and praised the club for continuing their perfect start to the campaign, as they also set a new league record for best start to a season with nine wins in a row.

“Compliments to my team-mates who all showed they’ve got courage, strength and balls!” wrote the Lupi legend, who, along with Gervinho, missed the match due to an injury.

“We are all Roma, regardless of who is playing. I must also thank the fans, who supported us against an Udinese side that was unbeaten at home in a lifetime. Great!”
