Udinese midfielder Giampiero Pinzi is hoping home advantage will give his side the edge over Roma in Serie A on Sunday.

The Giallorossi travel to the Stadio Friuli as they bid to win their ninth match in a row this season.

“Roma are going through an incredibly positive period,” he told Udinese Channel. “But we are a good team at home and our strength is the Stadio Friuli and Roma know it.

“We need to recover after the loss to Milan. We don’t seem to be able to win away games, but at home we do better, even if we could do even better.”

“Roma’s strength lies in the defence

“My friend [Mehdi] Benatia is making a difference. I am happy for him, but I hope he makes some mistakes on Sunday.

“I didn’t expect him to adjust so well, because in Rome there is a higher pressure than here in Udine.

“But Toto Di Natale and Luis Muriel are the players who can make a difference to us. But first of all we must be strong and be aware that Roma are very strong on the counter-attack.”
