Jorginho – Verona
Verona midfielder Jorginho is keeping his feet on the ground despite the club flying high in the Serie A standings.
The twenty-one-year-old midfielder and his team have had a fantastic start of the season so far and are currently in fifth place, collecting 13 points in seven games, with Jorginho himself scoring three goals with one assist.
“Survival is still the the target,” he told Sport Italia.
“Nobody expected such a beginning. We are living a dream right now.
“However, we are only talking about survival here. For that reason, we have to keep training as we have done so far.”
With Luca Toni and Jorginho scoring the goals, Verona have now collected more points than the likes of Lazio, AC Milan and Fiorentina.
