Former AC Milan club captain Gianni Rivera is not expecting anything from the Rossoneri this season following their disastrous start.
The Diavolo’s worries continue to mount as the relationship between Barbara Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani hangs in the balance, while they have not won in their last five matches.
“I will not go onto the matter [regarding] Barbara Berlusconi and Galliani because I do not know [anything about it],” he told Tuttomercatoweb.
The fans at the Stadio Meazza have openly expressed their discontent with the team’s recent performances.
“As for the fans who complain, everyone is interested in technique and quality. I hope that the team will do well in the Champions League,” Rivera stated.
Rivera was then asked how he felt about the club’s current state.
“God forbid, but I do not expect anything [this season]. I just hope that there is some joy in Europe.”
