Cagliari president Massimo Cellino has intimated he wouldn’t stand in midfielder Radja Nainggolan’s way if he wanted to leave for Juventus in January.

The 25-year-old Belgian has been with the Isolani since 2010, making over 130 appearances for the club.

Now Cellino, also the owner of the Sardinians, has said he would possibly allow Nainggolan to leave for long-time suitors Juventus in the winter transfer window.

“If he asked me to go to Juventus in January, I would leave him free to decide,” he said.

The 57-year-old also praised the way the Bianconeri have approached the matter.

“Juventus have asked me [about Nainggolan] for two years, but without pressure,” he said.

“I appreciate their conduct.”

Nainggolan has made 13 appearances this season, scoring two goals.
