Ciro Ferrara - SampdoriaFormer Napoli and Juventus player Ciro Ferrara believes that only achieving perfection will be enough to give them victory in Turin on Sunday night.

Both teams are currently level on points in Serie A, three behind Roma, as they look to close the gap on the league’s surprise leaders and he expects an open game in which the reigning champions will be favourites.

He told Sky Italia: “I think it will be a good, open game with Juventus perhaps being favourites because of their tradition and being home and both teams are in excellent shape physically and mentally.

“Napoli will need to be perfect although they are a side who have only really messed up once this season when they drew 1-1 at home with Sassuolo but I have been impressed with Rafael Benitez so far and he has had the courage to rotate his side.”

He believes that Argentinean aces Carlos Tevez and Gonzalo Higuain will be vital for their respective sides and thinks the Partenopei man is perhaps the more accomplished of the two.

“Both players are essential to their teams,” said the ex-Sampdoria boss. “They are two players on a different level although Higuain seems to be more of a leader, a player who can really inspire his teammates.
