Inter and Fiorentina are reportedly targeting Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez.
The 22-year-old, who’s been with the Premier League side since 2012, is rumoured to be looking for a return to Serie A and both clubs are expected to make offers for him this winter.
According to Tuttomercatoweb.com, the Uruguayan international isn’t satisfied with his role at the club, as he’s always competing for space in the line up with Adam Lallana and Jay Rodriguez, and could look for a way out as soon as January.
The midfielder is also likely to miss his call up to next year’s World Cup due to his lack of time on the pitch, though Uruguay are still yet to even guarantee their spot in the tournament and must face Jordan in a playoff.
Gaston Ramirez joined Southampton from Bologna for around €14 million in 2012 after spending two years with the Italian club, where he scored 12 goals in 58 league games for them.
