Inter are rumoured to be interested once more in gaining the services of Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez in order to strengthen their attack this January.

The former Udinese star, now appearing for Barcelona, was purported to be a target for the Nerazzurri last summer, and reports suggest that they may be renewing interest come this winter transfer window.

Sanchez, who had a slow start to his career with the Catalan giants, has been reinvigorated this season and has put in several high quality performances throughout 2013.

However, if Inter intend to gain his services, they are likely to face competition in the form of Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, two clubs also rumoured to be interested in bringing the Chilean in.

Sanchez has made 63 league appearances for Barcelona since moving from Udinese in the summer of 2011, scoring on 27 occasions.

Before the switch to La Liga, he had established himself as a pivotal member of a strong Udinese side, where he found the back of the net 21 times in 95 appearances, often working in tandem with Antonio Di Natale.

Despite the interest from Inter, it is unclear whether Sanchez would favor a move back to Serie A with Barcelona keen on retaining his services in light of a recurring injury for star player Lionel Messi.
