Juventus are considering an offer for PSG midfielder Lucas in order to fill in space on the flank.

Since the arrival of Laurent Blanc, Lucas has failed to play as a regular member of the PSG squad. The former Sao Paulo player is in danger of losing his chance to play in the World Cup 2014, an unique event in any Brazilian footballer’s life.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are pondering a loan for Lucas for the second half of the season, until June.

The French giants may consider the move because it opens a channel of their future purchase of Paul Pogba.

Lucas joined PSG from San Paolo in January 2013 for a fee of €40 million. For the first six months under Carlo Ancelotti, he performed well.

However, since Blanc came in summer, Lucas had spent most of his time on the bench.
