Lazio striker Miroslav Klose has given a word of advice to young forward Keita Balde Diao, stating that humility will help the youngster in his journey for stardom.

The 18-year-old just started his professional career with the Biancocelesti this season and has already gained the attention of outside clubs, including Liverpool, due to the recent demonstration of his impressive attacking skills on the pitch.

Klose issued a reminder to the youngster to remain humble throughout his growth as a player if he wants to be great.

“To be great, one must be a servant to humility,” said the 35-year-old veteran, as reported by the Roman edition of the Corriere della Sera.

Keita joined the Lazio youth team from Barcelona in 2011 for a fee of €300,000 and although he was selected by coach Vladimir Petkovic to sit on the bench with the senior team a few times last season, he never managed to make his debut.

The Spanish-born Senegalese forward has scored one goal in his four Serie A appearances for the club thus far.
