Lazio have reportedly placed a price of €15 million on the head of goalkeeper Federico Marchetti, as AC Milan continue their pursuit of the player.

The 30-year-old, who’s been with the Biancocelesti since 2011, currently has a contract that isn’t set to expire until June 2016, but has recently had a falling out with the club’s fans and could favour a move to Milan if they make a serious proposal.

According to Il Messaggero, Lazio president Claudio Lotito expects no less than the €15m from the Rossoneri and might still consider offering an extension to Marchetti before the January transfer window.

However, Beppe Bozzo, agent of the Italian international, has claimed that there aren’t any meetings scheduled regarding a renewal with the Roman club as of now.

Marchetti joined the Aquilotti from Cagliari in 2011 for a fee of around €5m and has made 77 Serie A appearances for the club thus far.
