Livorno are seeking to make at least three new additions to their squad in January transfer window.
The Amaranto are currently three points above the Serie A relegation zone and are looking to give coach Davide Nicola reinforcements for the second half of the season.
La Nazione reports that the Tuscan club have prioritised signing a left-sided player and two midfielders in January.
Stuttgart’s Cristian Molinaro has been identified as a potential target for a left-sided position, while in midfield Livorno are monitoring free agent Houssine Kharja and Bryan Cristante of AC Milan.
Kharja is thought to be closest to a move to the Stadio Armando Picchi with the 31-year-old publicly admitting his interest in signing for Livorno.
Kharja was most recently with Qatari side Al-Arabi before having his contract terminated due to an altercation with Al Gharafa player Nene in a Qatari Stars Cup match earlier this year.
