Fernando Llorente wants to win trophies with Juventus before he even thinks about heading off to the World Cup in Brazil.
The Spanish striker hopes to earn a spot in the national team by impressing with his performances for The Old Lady and winning a trophy in the process.
“It’s hard to give a percentage on my condition, I feel better with every game.” Llorente said in a press conference ahead of the match against Copenhagen.
“I like helping the team in every game, it’s what I need to do.”
The 28-year-old added his thoughts on Spain and what he’s doing on his route to the World Cup.
“The season is long, it’s not the right moment to talk about the World Cup,” Llorente said.
“I have to do well here, it’s the first thing that’s in my head, helping Juventus to win so it can help me to go to Brazil.
“I work to improve everyday, everyday I want to be better than before. I think I’m doing a good job in Turin and I believe I can still grow.”
