Moratti confirms Inter stadium plans

Honorary Inter president Massimo Moratti has suggested that the club may look to build a new stadium in the near future.

The Nerazzurri currently share the Stadio Meazza with local rivals AC Milan and it is owned, not by the clubs, but the local council and new president Erick Thohir is said to be keen for Inter to have their own home.

“We spoke about the Expo centre,” he told the press. “It was only natural to speak about the consequences of potentially building there.

“Thohir will be around now to figure out the details.”
