Younes Kaboul - Tottenham HotspurTottenham Hotspur’s Younes Kaboul has been linked with a move to Napoli in the upcoming winter transfer window.

Partenopei coach Rafael Benitez is seeking a centre back who can build a strong partnership with Raul Albiol as he bids to improve a somewhat shaky backline.

According to Tuttosport, the Neopolitans aren’t the only Italian club to show interest in the 27-year-old Frenchman, with AC Milan also said to be interested.

Given the fact that his contract expires at the end of June 2014, it is thought Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis will try to secure a low-cost transfer this winter.

The former Auxerre and Portsmouth defender has been used sparingly by coach Andre Vilas-Boas this season, making just one appearance in the Premier League, though he has been struggling with injury.

Dream on Carlton, isn’t going to happen, we have just nursed him through 12 months of injury problems, not so he can go to another club, he will be staying at the Lane and playing in the best League in the World
