Prandelli expects an open game against Germany

Cesare Prandelli - ItalyItalian national coach Cesare Prandelli spoke ahead of Friday’s friendly with Germany, a game the Azzurri coach expects to be an open match.

After German coach Joachim Low admitted his team could learn from the Italian side, coach Prandelli echoed the sentiments by saying: “He’s right though, Italy is the home team, many of our teams play a certain way, and can change during a game.”

The Azzurri tactician went on to say “We are going to try and be open against the Germans,we have prepared well and I’m sure we’re in for a good game.”

The two sides have met 31 times with the Azzurri holding the advantage with 15 wins compared to the Germans seven with nine draws, the game takes place at the San Siro in Milan on Friday.
