Sassuolo boss Eusebio Di Francesco could be nearing the end of his reign at the newly promoted Serie A side.

The coach lead his side to defeat in their first four games of the season, including the 7-0 thrashing from Inter at their home stadium.

Draws against Napoli, Lazio and Catania followed, as well as wins against Bologna and Sampdoria, however the Gazzetta dello Sport suggests Sassuolo could still look elsewhere if the form is not consistently better.

According to the Gazzetta dello Sport, Davide Ballardini, Eugenio Corini, Domenico Di Carlo and former Italian Under-21 boss Devis Mangia are the possible replacements.

Sassuolo’s 4-3 win away to Sampdoria on Sunday is likely to have relieved some of the pressure on the former Roma winger, though his side still lie third from bottom in the Serie A standings.
