Roma are looking to secure the signing of Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang in the January transfer window.

It is thought that the Giallorossi are in the market for another midfielder, however Samp are currently unwilling to sell one of their best players.

According to Il Tempo, the Lupi could offer Marquinho and Gianluca Caprari as potential makeweights in a deal for the Spanish Under-21 international who is valued at €10 million.

The 21-year-old is considered to be one of the most promising midfielders in Serie A and has been previously linked with a move to the Stadio Olimpico, in addition to a host of top European sides.

Roma have also been linked with Juraj Kucka of Genoa and Basel’s Valentin Stocker, although both are also considered unavailable for a transfer at this time.
