AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang has confirmed his loan move to French outfit Montpellier and has said that he is happy to see the deal going through.
The 19-year-old has featured just nine times for Milan in the current season, and with much competition for the offensive positions, both Niang and the Rossoneri saw a loan-move as a good option.
“I’m very happy about joining Montpellier,” he told reporters. “I also received other offers from Marseille and Lyon, but i want to help Montpellier.”
“I don’t have any regrets about having chosen Milan. My objective is to return to the club, stronger than before.”
Since arriving from Caen in 2012, M’Baye Niang has bagged just one goal in 33 matches for AC Milan.
