Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia and would consider including David Luiz in a potential swap.

The Chelsea boss, who is also reportedly targeting Fredy Guarin, is now turning his attention to the 25-year-old Italian international.

Reports suggest that Ranocchia is set to hand in an official transfer request, sparking the interest of numerous English clubs including Manchester United, Tottenham, Arsenal, and Chelsea.

According to theĀ Gazzetta dello SportĀ the Nerazzurri would consider selling the towering Italian if an adequate offer were made, and with Luiz seemingly having fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge after making only 6 league appearances so far this season, a swap deal could potentially make sense for both clubs.

Ranocchia has made 103 appearances for Inter since joining from Genoa in 2010.

Luiz, a fan favorite at Chelsea, arrived from Portuguese side Benfica in 2010 and has made 122 appearances for the London club.
