Everton join Liverpool in race to sign Udinese midfielder

Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Badu has has been linked with a move to Premier League club Everton for the January transfer window.

This comes after reports that Everton’s rival, Liverpool, have also expressed an interest in signing the 23-year-old Ghanaian midfielder.

According to tuttoudinese.it, the Toffees have taken a keen interest in the midfielder as they look to add depth to a squad that currently sit in fourth place in the Premier League.

Badu has played in 11 matches for the Zebrette and scored once this season. He also came on as a substitute in both matches of Ghana’s playoff against Egypt, a 7-3 aggregate victory.

The defensive midfielder has been with the club since January 2010 when he arrived from Berekum Arsenals of Ghana for €500,000.
