Paolo CannavaroNapoli stalwart Paolo Cannavaro is close to making an exit from San Paolo with both Inter and Parma wanting his services.

The former Partenopei captain, 32, has found himself surplus to requirements this season under Rafa Benitez and his game time limited severely.

Cannavaro is not just attracting interest from Inter and Parma as there is also interest in the player from overseas clubs according to the newspaper Il Roma.

The 32 year old Neapolitan began his career with his hometown club before spells with Parma and Verona.

He returned to Napoli in 2006 and went on to captain the side that lifted their first silverware in 20 years as his side overcame Juventus 2-0 in the 2012 Coppa Italia final and has appeared in 278 games for his boyhood club in all competitions.
