Inter owner Erick Thohir is targeting a striker and is keen on Daniel Osvaldo and Edin Dzeko.

The Indonesian businessman aims to give coach Walter Mazzarri the funds to bring in a player who can relieve some of the pressure on Rodrigo Palacio, and hopefully replace Diego Milito in the long term.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Nerazzurri will offload Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Alvaro Pereira to raise funds for any potential deal, Thohir will only look to move Fredy Guarin and Andrea Ranocchia on if it is really necessary.

Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko is his primary target, but his €5m annual salary could prove a stumbling block before the Beneamata even table a bid.

Osvaldo would require a bid in the region of €15m before Southampton would think of making a deal.

If both deals fail to hit it off, the Indonesian businessman is believed to be interested in luring Mauricio Pinilla to the San Siro.
