Inter could be preparing to make a spectacular offer to Russian side Zenit St. Petersburg for Hulk.
On Tuesday ItaSportPress reported that Erick Thohir was keen to make a big statement in the January window with the Brazilian forward at the top of the list.
The 27-year-old has struggled to settle in Russia since his move from Porto in 2012. Despite showing decent form and scoring with regularity he has had several disputes with teammates.
Reports suggest it would take a huge bid to prize the Brazilian international away from Luciano Spalletti’s side, possibly somewhere in the region of €45m.
Hulk has netted 23 goals in 52 appearances for Zenit.
