Juventus have been handed a €5,000 fine after their young fans directed abuse at Udinese goalkeeper Zeljko Brkic on Sunday night.

The Bianconeri allowed 12,000 children to sit on both ends of the stadium as Ultras were banned for the match.

However the supporters were heard shouting abuse at Brkic every time the goalkeeper took a goal-kick, resulting in the fine.

Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin revealed his disappointment in the situation, stating that is troublesome to see such behaviour from youngsters.

“On the chants from the youngsters I was left feeling badly,” he stated at a press conference.

“I wanted to say something right after the game because it bothered me but I didn’t want to put any oil on the fire and I decided to stay quiet.

“For a club such as Juventus where everything is beautiful, in particular where the stadium gives you the idea that you are not in Italy, it is really troublesome to hear those words every time the goalkeeper puts the ball into play.”
