Atalanta general manager Pierpaolo Marino has revealed that Juventus have shown interest in midfielders Giacomo Bonaventura and Daniele Baselli.

Both players are products of the Orobici youth system, with Bonaventura having started his professional career with the club in 2007 and leaving twice on loan since then, and Baselli recently returning to club over the summer after a two-year stint with lower league side Cittadella.

Marino spoke to TuttoSport about the Bianconeri’s monitoring of the two starlets, while also commenting on Atalanta’s business relationship with the reigning Serie A champions.

“Juventus have been following Bonaventura, but now Baselli as well,” said the executive.

“There are many clubs following the latter, he holds a stigma of a top player and first reminded me of [Marek] Hamsik.

“The relationship with Juventus? We’re fine. We’re ready to strike up new business immediately after [Simone] Padoin, [Federico] Peluso and [Manolo] Gabbiadini.

“Given the relationship, it won’t be hard to find new market agreements soon.”
