Juventus only Italian team represented in UEFA Team of the Year

Juventus have had three players nominated for the UEFA Team of the Year – the only representatives from Serie A.

Bianconeri defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Stephan Lichtsteiner are joined by French midfielder Paul Pogba on the shortlist, which is decided by online votes via the UEFA website here.

Of the other nominees, Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani played for Napoli for a large part of 2013.

Champions League winners Bayern Munich dominate the lists with nine, while Porto, Monaco and Arsenal have the least, with one apiece.
