Napoli have their sights on acquiring Manchester City defender Micah Richards ahead of the January transfer window.
The Partenopei have aims to acquire two defenders and a centre-midfielder to remain competitive in Serie A play.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Napoli and Arsenal may have a chance of snatching up the 25-year-old due the fact that the England international has admitted he is open to leaving Manchester in search of first team football.
If the Partenopei fail in their attempt to purchase Richards, Napoli coach Rafael Benitez has also placed Liverpool players Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger on his January wish list.
Richards has only made two league appearance this season.
