Livorno coach Davide Nicola thinks that Lazio made life difficult for the Granata during their encounter Sunday afternoon, which the Biancocelesti won 2-0.
Both goals were scored by Miroslav Klosein the first half. The Amaranto tried to muster a response in the second half but didn’t have the offensive qualities to do so.
“The pressure from Lazio and their dribbling quality made it difficult for us,” he told Mediaset Premium after the match.
“We were in difficulty for most of the first half, but after the 30th minute we did much better and showed our heart. Against teams like these, however, it’s never easy.”
Apart from a 4-1 win away at Sassuolo, Livorno have been poor on the road this season as Sunday’s defeat was their 6th away loss in a row.
