Roma captain Francesco Totti has reportedly agreed on a new sponsorship deal with American sportswear giants Nike.
The news comes just months after the brand announced a 10-year deal to become the official equipment and apparel sponsor for the Giallorossi from the start of the 2014/15 season.
Reports in the Italian press suggest a contract has already been drawn up and agreed between Totti and Nike, and will be concluded before Tuesday when an event will be held.
The 37-year-old legend has previously had sponsorship deals with Diadora and Kappa – both of whom had also sponsored Roma.
Totti was on the bench for the Giallorossi’s match against Fiorentina on Sunday after returning from a hamstring injury, but he could return to the field against AC Milan on December 16.
He has three goals and six assists in the eight matches he has appeared in this season.
