Southampton, Swansea and Lazio battle for Juventus striker

Fabio Quagliarella could be one of the players who could be heading out of Juventus when the January transfer window opens as Southampton, Swansea and Lazio are all interested in his services.

The striker has not seen regular for the Bianconeri playing second fiddle to the new arrivals Fernando llorente and Carlos Tevez.

According to Tuttosport, the Premier League sides are monitoring the former Udinese man’s situation with view of a move in the transfer window, while the Biancocelesti are keen to recruit another striker to take the goalscoring burden from Miroslav Klose.

A move to MLS has also been mooted with New York Red Bulls said to be keeping tabs on developments.

The 30 year old has made 93 appearances for the Bianconeri scoring 30 goals in all competitions since he arrived in 2010.
