AC Milan’s South American duo Gabriel and Jherson Vergara are both set to join Reggina on loan for the next six months.
Both players had been eager to be loaned out by their parent club Milan in order to gain more playing time.
Sky Sport Italia now reports that both players will head to the struggling Serie B side in order to gain more playing time.
Reggina will welcome the arrival of goalkeeper Gabriel after the Amaranto lost first choice keeper Massimiliano Benassi to Juve Stabia.
Vergara may also stand a chance of getting first team experience as the limited number of defenders in the squad have kept their opponents scoreless on only two occasions.
Reggina have struggled this Serie B season, winning only three times this season and spending the majority of the season in the relegation zone.
Both Vergara and Gabriel will likely return to Milan at the conclusion of the season as there is no option to buy either player.
