AC Milan have made Botafogo’s Doria a key transfer target for next season.

The Rossoneri have been scouting the player for some time and seem determined to beat their rivals to his signature.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the newly-appointed coach Clarence Seedorf has named Doria as his number one signing.

The Dutchman played alongside the defender at Botafogo and will be more aware than anyone of his potential.

Competition for the 19 year-old will be fierce but Seedorf is hoping his time with Botafogo will help negotiations run smoothly.

Doria has recently signed a new long-term contract with the Brazilian club until 2017.
