AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli and Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon headline the list of suspended players for Round 22’s Serie A matches.
Balotelli was suspended for yellow card accumulation and Buffon will miss this week’s match against Inter for his red card offense in last Saturday’s draw with Lazio when he took down Miroslav Klose in the penalty area.
Super Mario was also fined €10,ooo for a provocative gesture toward the Cagliari supporters during Milan’s 2-1 comeback victory where the striker scored a free kick to draw his team level. A Giampaolo Pazzini header sealed consecutive league victories for new coach Clarence Seedorf.
