London based side Arsenal are considering a move for AC Milan youngster Stephan El Shaarawy during the January transfer window.

Even though the striker has experienced recent struggles in his dip of form, he has caught the attention of Arsene Wenger and is thought to be on the Frenchman’s shortlist of forwards and could be brought into the club if other offers fail due to the 21-year-old being currently sidelined for the next two months.

According to reports from Sports Direct News, the Gunners have been linked to a move for the Italy international after it is believed that AC Milan could accept a cut-price offer for his services as they look to improve their struggling squad for the second half of the season as the sit in 13th place.

Il Faraone has found match time limited this year due to injury and poor match form only managing to notch up four games and scoring once in all competitions up-to-date but still remains one of the most highly rated young talents who finished the last campaign as the Rossoneri’s top scorer.

El Shaarawy who joined the Italian giants in 2011 from fellow Serie A side Genoa could not only add some youth and depth to Emirates Stadium side line-up but also prove to play a pivotal role for Wenger and his team as they continue their pursuit for the Premier League title.
