Roma have officially announced the sale of midfielder Michael Bradley to Major League Soccer for $10 million (€7.3m) where he is expected to join Toronto FC.

The statement was released on the Giallrossi’s official website late on Thursday night.

The former Borussia Monchengladbach, Aston Villa and Chievo midfielder originally left the MLS in 2006 when he left the New York Red Bulls for Dutch side Heerenveen.

With Radja Nainggolan having recently joined the Giallorossi, the move will allow Bradley to play regularly as he looks to make the USA’s World Cup squad for this summer’s World Cup.

Bradley has scored 11 goals in 82 appearances for the American national team since his debut in 2006.
