Fiorentina regard Udinese keeper Zeljko Brkic as one of their potential signings in the near future.

Among many Zebrette players who have drawn attention from other Serie A and foreign clubs, the Serbian international has remained in excellent form in the year of 2013.

According to Tuttoudinese.it, Fiorentina showed great interest in bringing Brkic to Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Vincenzo Montella has tried to trust Neto for many times but the Brazilian’s performance cannot convince the Viola coach. It is believed that by signing Brkic could Fiorentina strengthen the only weakness in their current squad.

Brkic joined Udinese from Serbian side Vojvodina in 2011 but was loaned to Siena in his first season due to the existence of Samir Handanovic. However, after the Slovanian keeper left the club in 2012, Brkic managed to establish his position in Stadio Friuli during the subsequent season.
