Genoa have officially signed Roma defender Nicolas Burdisso and Juventus defender Marco Motta.
The duo have been linked with a move to the Grifone in recent days, but their signings were made official on Thursday.
Burdisso has signed on a permanent basis while Motta has joined on loan for the remainder of the season.
“The Genoa Cricket and Football Club communicates to have defined with Juventus Fc the temporary acquisition, with the option to sign definitively, the defender Marco Motta (Merate, 14-05 -1986),” a statement read on the Genoa website.
“The footballer has arrived in Genoa in the last few hours and by tomorrow will join the team on the orders of the technical staff.
“The Genoa Cricket and Football Club announced that it has acquired from As Roma the right to the sports performance of Argentine defender Nicolas Burdisso (Altos de Chipion, 12-04 -1981).
“The formula of the transaction includes the sale of contract definitively.”
