Sunday’s match between Genoa and Inter could possibly be postponed due to flooding in the area.

For now, the two sides are still set to meet on Sunday afternoon at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, though there’s a chance that the game may be postponed until later on in the evening, or even rescheduled for another day.

According to Italian newspaper Secolo XIX, the weather centre in Genoa has currently put the city on a Level 1 rain alert which will last well into Sunday.

The Grifone’s home stadium, also widely known as the Marassi due to it’s location, is in an area of the city that’s at a high risk for flooding.

Both sides will be looking to improve from their previous Serie A performances, as the Rossoblu will be entering the match coming off of a 4-0 loss to Roma last weekend, while Inter are coming off of a 1-1 draw with Chievo.
