Genoa v VeronaThe Italian Disciplinary Panel have handed out a one match conditional ban to the Curva Sud of Hellas Verona.

The ban comes as a reaction to the rascist chants that were heard during the match between the Mastini and Napoli on Sunday afternoon. The chants are said to have been directed towards Partonopei’s Pablo Armero.

In the statement that was sent out earlier today by the Disciplinery Panel, it is also noted that the sanction will be suspended for one year, but with the caution that if a similar incident takes place during that year, this sanction will be taken back and added to any new sanction.

Hellas Verona are placed in sixth position in Serie A.
