Inter technical director Marco Branca’s days with the Nerazzuri could be numbered as his future remains in the balance and is reported to be facing an exit from the club at the end of the season.

Branca, 49, has seen his role and contribution in recent times reduced as the club looks to undergo a complete revamp under Erick Thohir.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a June exit could have already been agreed and that Branca had played no part whatsoever in the recent, albeit failed discussions over the Mirko Vucinic – Fredy Guarin swap deal as this was instead handled by Piero Ausilio and Marco Fassone.

Branca enjoyed a varied playing career and arguably enjoyed his best spell with the Nerazzuri during the mid 1990s and has spent all his post playing days with Inter since 2002 in several different roles.
