Andrea D’Amico, agent of Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco, has revealed that the player won’t be joining Fiorentina during the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old has been linked with a loan move to the Viola this month, as he’s failed to become a main component of the Bianconeri starting line up this season, but his agent claims that there are currently no talks of a departure from Juve.
D’Amico spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his client’s future and insisted that he will be staying with the Old Lady for the time being.
“It’s a situation that’s never been considered,” said the agent.
“He has a contract that expires in 2015 and he’s very important to Juventus.
“If he ends up leaving Turin, it will be to a permanent destination, especially since he’s now proven his value.
“Fioretina? They’ve never even asked about him.”
Sebastian Giovinco has scored one goal in his eight Serie A appearances for Juventus this season thus far.
