Inter coach Walter Mazzarri believes the Nerazzurri missed too many chances during their defeat to Genoa, but also stressed that it is a thing that is hard to correct.

The Nerazzuri fell to a 1-0 defeat at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Sunday afternoon thanks to a goal from the Grifone’s Luca Antonelli after 83 minutes despite creating several scoring chances.

“I can’t criticize the guys, but we need to pay more attention on corner kicks and in front of goal. Errors in front of goal are difficult to correct, unfortunately,” Mazzari said to Sky Sport following the match.

“We played a good match on a difficult surface against a well-organized opponent. We need to continue to believe in our work and our style of play.”

Inter’s next match in the Serie A will be at home against Catania.
