Napoli are reportedly close to signing Tottenham’s defensive midfielder, Etienne Capoue, who has already agreed to join the Partenopei, while the two clubs are still discussing a deal.
The 25-year-old Frenchman has been playing poorly for Spurs so far this season and therefore a move away had looked to be on the cards this January, with Napoli the prime contenders for the player.
According to Il Mattino, Tottenham wants to sell Capoue for at least €10 million, while the Partenopei are looking to get the midfielder on a loan deal with obligation to buy at the end of the season.
Etienne Capoue have appeared just eight times in the Premier League for Tottenham since joining from Toulouse in the summer.
