Faouzi Ghoulam - Saint-EtienneNapoli are reportedly close to completing a move for Algerian full-back Faouzi Ghoulam from Ligue 1 side Saint-Etienne.

Partenopei Coach Rafa Benitez is short of options on the left flank, with right-sided defender Anthony Reveillere currently having to cover for the injured Juan Camilo Zuniga and Pablo Armero, so a new left-back has been high on his list of priorities.

According to RMC Sport, negotiations between the two clubs have reached a conclusion, with a fee of around €5.5 million being agreed for the French-born Algeria international to move to the Stadio San Paolo.

The player, who has also been linked with English champions Manchester United, has arrived in Italy to undergo a medical before penning a four year contract with Napoli.

Ghoulam is a product of the Saint-Etienne youth academy and has been with the club since the age of eight, going on to score three goals in 107 appearance for the les Verts over three and a half seasons.
