Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has reportedly also expressed an interest in landing Inter striker Ishak Belfodil.
This comes after hearing there was interest in the Algerian from West Ham United, while Serie A side Sassuolo are also in the running for the player’s signature.
“Belfodil is a player who we are interested in. [I] know that there is also [interest from] West Ham, but frankly I cannot say more,” Redknapp told the press.
“I do not know how things are evolving. Our CEO Phil Beard has developed contacts with Inter, but I cannot really say where we are.”
So far this season, the 21 year old has featured in 11 matches, tallying one goal in the Coppa Italia and one assist in Serie A for the Nerazzurri.
